Ahmet Furkan Özyakar Lecturer in the Department of International Relations, Atatürk University

Ahmet Furkan Özyakar is a lecturer in the Department of International Relations at Atatürk University. He holds an MA in Iranian Studies from SOAS, University of London, and a PhD in Politics from the University of Exeter. During his doctoral studies, he conducted research on Iranian cultural and educational diplomacy and spent six months as a visiting scholar at the University of Tehran. His research interests include Iran’s foreign policy, public diplomacy, status and authoritarianism, with a broader focus on Middle Eastern politics.
