Alexandra Vacroux Director, Scholars Without Borders, Davis Center Vice President for Strategic Engagement, Kyiv School of Economics

Alexandra Vacroux is Vice President for Strategic Engagement at the Kyiv School of Economics, where she develops partnerships with leading universities and programmes to advance KSE’s mission.

She previously served for 15 years as Executive Director of Harvard University’s Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies, where she played a key role in strengthening the REECA master’s programme and expanding the Centre’s policy engagement.

Dr Vacroux’s research and public commentary focus on Russian and Eurasian policy, including the war in Ukraine. Her professional background spans leadership roles in the private sector and work on economic reform in Russia.

She holds a PhD in Government from Harvard University.
