Dipuo Letsatsi-Duba Ambassador, South Africa

Ambassador Dipuo Letsatsi-Duba began at ANC Headquarters and served as Editor in Chief of the Voice of Women, the ANC Women’s Journal. Educated in Cuba and Zimbabwe, she holds a Political Sciences degree and a Mass Communication diploma. Over the years, she held various roles, including Media Liaison Officer at the ANC’s Shell House and a business venture in Limpopo. Her ANC leadership roles spanned from the Provincial Executive Committee to the Provincial Treasurer. Letsatsi-Duba served as MEC for Agriculture, Sports, Arts and Culture, and Health and Social Development in Limpopo. In Parliament, she chaired the Public Enterprises Portfolio. Appointed Deputy Minister for Public Service and Administration in 2017, she later became the Minister of State Security in 2018. Currently, Ambassador Letsatsi-Duba serves as an Ambassador to Turkey, appointed by President Cyril Ramaphosa in 2019, while also pursuing a Master of Business Administration.
