Görkem Kavçak is a strategy and investment executive with more than 20 years of experience in mining, metals, and critical minerals. He is Executive Director of Strategy & Investment at CoreX Holding in Istanbul, where he leads long-term planning and inorganic growth and advises the CEO and the board.
He has led cross-border acquisitions across multiple commodities, structured off-take agreements, and represented the company in trade-defense cases and policy engagements. Earlier, he built the group’s market intelligence and strategy functions, after roles at HSBC and ISI Emerging Markets (Euromoney Group).
He holds degrees in Econometrics and Insurance from Marmara University and is a regular speaker at SMR, CRU, and ICDA conferences.
