Currently a PhD Candidate in the Department of International Relations at Istanbul Medeniyet University in Turkiye, serving as a senior fellow in the North African Studies Department of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies (ORSAM). His research interest lies in the politics and international politics of the Wider Red Sea Region of North Africa, Sudan, the Sahel, and Turkish foreign policy. He wrote articles and prepared reports on Sustainable Development in North Africa and conducted field research in Sudan, Tunisia, and Algeria. His articles and book chapters have been published in peer-reviewed journals and his analyses and opinions have appeared in media and many international publications.
