Kılıç Buğra Kanat Member of the Presidential Security and Foreign Policy Council

Kılıç Buğra Kanat is a Senior Fellow at the TRT World Research Centre, Research Director at the SETA Foundation in Washington, DC, and Professor of Political Science at Penn State University in Erie, Pennsylvania. At Penn State, he received the Outstanding Research Award and the Council of Fellows Faculty Research Award for his academic work. He is the author of A Tale of Four Augusts: Obama’s Syria Policy and co-editor of History, Politics and Foreign Policy in Turkey. Alongside his academic and research positions, he contributes commentary and analysis on political developments and international affairs through his work as a columnist.
