Marko Mihkelson DEPUTY CHAIRMAN OF THE FOREIGN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE OF ESTONIAN PARLIAMENT

Marko Mihkelson is Deputy Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Estonian Parliament. He was first elected to Parliament in 2003 and is currently serving his fifth mandate. He has served in previous Parliaments as a Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Chair of the EU Affairs Committee and Chair of the National Defence Committee. Between 2000 and 2003, he served as the Director of the Baltic Centre for Russian Studies and from 1997 to 2000, he served as Editor-in-Chief of Estonia’s largest national daily newspaper, Postimees. Prior to assuming this role, he served as Postimees’ correspondent in Moscow. He is author of the books “Russia: In Dusk and Dawn” (2010) and “The Disruptive Era” (2018).
