Matthew Bryza FORMER UNITED STATES AMBASSADOR TO AZARBAJJIAN

Matthew Bryza completed his 23-year U.S. diplomatic career in 2012 as Ambassador to Azerbaijan. Previously, he was a White House and senior State Department official working on Turkey, Cyprus, Greece, Central Asia, and the South Caucasus. As the Cold War ended, he served in US embassies in Warsaw and Moscow.

Bryza is currently a board member of energy, mining, and telecommunications companies operating in the Caspian Region, Turkey, Europe, and Texas. He is also a Managing Partner in Istanbul of US lobbying firm Ballard Partners and a Board Member of the Jamestown Foundation.

He frequently comments in global and regional media.
