Michelangelo Guida Professor, Department of Political Science and Public Administration, Istanbul Medeniyet University

Michelangelo Guida is a Professor in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Istanbul Medeniyet University. He earned his BA in Political Science (2001) and Ph.D. (2005) from L’Orientale University of Naples, and his MA in Turkish Studies (2002) from SOAS, University of London.

He has published extensively in English, Italian, and Turkish, with a primary focus on electoral behavior. His research has also explored the emergence of political ideas and the development of Turkish Islamism. More recently, his work has centered on Turkish conservatism.
