Oytun Orhan Researcher, ORSAM

Oytun Orhan’s PhD dissertation title is “The Contagion Effect of Syria Crisis: Comparative Analysis of Turkey and Lebanon.” He started to work as a researcher in the Middle East Department at the Center for Eurasian Strategic Studies in 1999, and continued to work there until 2009. Orhan also worked as a researcher at the Center for Middle Eastern Studies (ORSAM) between 2009-2017. He is still working for ORSAM as the Coordinator for Levant Studies. Orhan has extensive field experience in all regions of Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan and also conducted substantive research in the Turkey-Syria border area.
