Paul George Morcos Minister of Information, Republic of Lebanon

Minister Dr. Paul Morcos is the founder of Justicia Law Firm, an attorney at law, and a legal and compliance advisor to several financial institutions. He is also the President and founder of the Lebanese Foundation for Development and Human Rights.

A trilingual speaker of Arabic, English, and French, Dr. Morcos has served as a professor at Saint Joseph University in Beirut, the American University of Beirut (AUB), La Sagesse University, and the Lebanese University. He coordinated the National Action Plan for Human Rights at the Lebanese Parliament with support from UNDP and OHCHR and continues to provide legal counsel to various public and private institutions, including the Lebanese Parliament.

With expertise in corporate and banking law, public law, and human rights, Dr. Morcos has published several books on democracy, human rights, and legal reform, some under the patronage of the World Bank, UNDP, UNESCO, and the European Union. He also participated in the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitors Leadership Program and has received awards from Lebanese and international authorities.

On February 8, 2025, Dr. Morcos was appointed Minister of Information and Acting Minister of Justice in the first government of President Joseph Aoun, presided over by Prime Minister Judge Nawaf Salam.
