Born in 1969 in Kyiv, Sergiy Kyslytsya holds a Master’s degree in International Law from the Institute of International Relations at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. A career diplomat since 1992, he has held senior positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and served at Ukraine’s embassies in the United States and Belgium.
From 2020 to 2025, Mr. Kyslytsya served as Ukraine’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations. In February 2025, he was appointed First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
