Sharon Hudson-Dean Senior Fellow, Center for European Policy Analysis

Sharon Hudson-Dean is a senior executive, former diplomat and Fellow at the Center for European Policy Analysis and Chatham House. In 2024–2025, she served as Security Policy Director and Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, covering NATO, the OSCE, Nordic-Baltic countries, the UK and Ireland. She served as Acting Ambassador and Deputy Chief of Mission in Norway and as U.S. Consul General in Sydney. A career member of the U.S. Senior Foreign Service, she has represented the United States across Europe, Africa and Asia. She holds degrees from Johns Hopkins and Georgetown University.
