Wadah Khanfar is President of the Al Sharq Forum, an independent network dedicated to developing long-term strategies for political development, social justice, and economic prosperity across the Al Sharq region. He is also the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Common Action Forum, a Madrid-based global platform for dialogue on governance and social change.
Previously, Khanfar served as Director General of the Al Jazeera Media Network, where he played a pivotal role in shaping its global influence. He is also the author of The First Spring: Political and Strategic Praxis of the Prophet of Islam.
