Yaşar Sarı Professor, Department of Political Science and International Relations, Ibn Haldun University

Prof. Dr. Yaşar Sarı is a Professor of International Relations and Director of the Haydar Aliyev Center for Eurasian Studies at Ibn Haldun University. He received his PhD from the University of Virginia and has held academic positions at universities in Türkiye, the United States and Central Asia. His research focuses on Central Asia, the Caucasus and Russia, energy diplomacy, peace and conflict studies, and foreign policy analysis. He has published widely and led numerous international projects, and is a member of scholarly organisations including the International Studies Association (ISA), the American Political Science Association (APSA) and the Central Eurasian Studies Society (CESS).
