Dr. Yousuf Al Bulushi is Chair of the Muscat Policy Council, an independent think tank in Oman focused on international dialogue, conflict mediation and Gulf regional security. He has convened dialogue forums that bring together officials, analysts and civil society representatives from across the region to build shared understanding where trust is limited. He also trains mediators and diplomats, developing scenario-based methods that help negotiators identify the security and political interests behind diplomatic language. Working in both Arabic and English, he brings to international forums a perspective shaped by Oman’s long tradition of quiet mediation and its balanced relations across the region and beyond.
