Zeynep Koç is a researcher, and her research currently focuses on economic sociology and the political economy of Turkey and the wider Middle East. Previously, she worked at international think tanks as a researcher. Prior to that, she was a Dr. Herchel Smith fellow at the University of Cambridge, conducting Economic and Anthropological research about the MENA region. Koç has an MPhil in Social Anthropology from the University of Cambridge and a B.A. from Williams College in Economics and Arabic Studies. She is also a PhD student at Istanbul University.
