Popular culture is widely seen as entertaining and preoccupying. But recent years saw an increasingly politicized pop culture sphere. This session aims to discuss the socio-political power of popular culture and explore whether dissenting voices raised through music, fashion and other tools of popular media could lead to transformation in the society.
